Jeanette studied Dutch law at the Erasmus University Rotterdam, specialization liability and insurance. Jeanette started her career at an organization for dispute resolution. She has been working as a legal adviser since 2016. At the beginning of 2019 Jeanette joined Smallegange Advocaten.

Jeanette is a lawyer at Smallegange and advises clients and litigates in cases involving trade, transport and insurance. Her cases include collisions, cargo claims, insurance disputes, personal injury cases and international trade disputes.

In addition to her work at Smallegange, Jeanette is a member of the editorial board of the legal journal about personal injuries “Personenschade Updates”.

Jeanette's memberships include Women's International Shipping & Trading Association (WISTA), the Dutch Transport Lawyers Association and the Dutch Transport Law Association.

Jeanette Limpens has registered the following principal legal practice areas in the Netherlands Bar's register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister):

Based on this registration, she is required to obtain ten training credits per calender year in each registered principal legal pracitive area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
